I just wanted to pass along my experience the last week with a computer virus and how I got it fixed. I noticed there were a few threads started on here about it and I figured I would share what I did with my laptop's nasty viruses. :swear:
Basically, I got the "Antivirus 2009" popups, among others, and several Trojans (Troj_Agent.apgn and Trojan Vondo stuff). I tried EVERYTHING, including SuperAntiSpyware (which actually, for free, was the best I tried), and Trend Micro. Nortons skipped right over it. I was very frustrated since I use this laptop at work. It was running very slow, etc. I resorted to the fact that I had some DEEP issues that no programs I was going to get would help.
Anyway, I came across www.bleepingcomputer.com and looked into their forums. They actually have a bunch of Tech people who will help you, for free, get rid of the problems.

Be sure to read the stickies first because there is a couple of things you will have to do to generate the logs they will want to see in your first post. Also, read through some of the other peoples posts too. Good luck if you decide to use them. My laptop has been working flawless all day.
