I got a funny story about Billy D and Colt 45. About 5 years ago I went to a comic book show up at that place in Novi that always has the car auctions and stuff right on 96. Well we went because a friend of mine is a huge star wars nut and has this star wars dvd boxed set that he wanted to get autographed by the main attraction at this show Billy D Williams. This boxed set is huge, its like a suitcase full of all the dvds and other movie shit. So far Jeff has gotten it signed by almost everyone in the original triliogy except Harrison Ford and Billy D Williams. I guess Harrison Ford will not even acknowledge he was in star wars these days, so autograph hunters all say it will never happen. So anyways, we get to the place and the line to see Billy D is wrapped around the inside permiter of the building, almost twice, out the front door, and around half the building. So we get in line and wait... and wait... and wait. Like 2 hours later we are about half a mile from Billy D williams when I notice the 3 guys behind us are ALL carrying Billy D Williams Colt 45 stuff. One guy has a huge lifesize Billy D cardboard cutout with him holding a can, one guy has a colt 45 dinner tray with Billy D's face on it, and another guy had some big colt 45 poster. These guys were really young, had to be late teens at best and this colt 45 shit was OLD. They must have scowered ebay looking for this stuff. So we are all laughing about this stuff because out of the 2.8 billion people in line, they were the only ones who had colt 45 stuff. Well we wait another hour and we are within about 100 yards of Billy D. Well we started noticing that some of his handlers were pointing in our direction so they started making "Walk bys" looking at these kids. We wait about another half hour or so and we are getting really close when 3 of his handlers walk by again, this time yelling to the line as they walk "Mr. Williams will NOT autograph ANY Colt 45 Merchandise". These kids flipped out.. they were yelling and screaming, I thought security was going to come drag them away. It was funny as hell, but I think Billy D could have told them a bit sooner than like hours into waiting...
