A buddy of mine told me about this car and was looking at buying one I thought he was bsing but I guess not becasue this is the third one ive heard about.

HERE'S MORE INFO GUYS...

The Jaguar has an all-aluminum 4.0L V8 has like 10.7 to 1 compression (premium fuel ONLY), 4-bolt mains with a full aluminum pan gridle, steel crank, forged rods & pistons, VVT (variable valve timing), and tuned port EFI, and true dual exhaust. It is "restricted" to just 300hp by the conservative computer programming (YES ford electronics ECM & programming) & the very restrictive dual exhaust (dual cats, 4 mufflers, 2" pipes). These cars can make 375hp (dyno HP on the Jag high-perf tech sight) with just an air-box, exhaust, and re-programming... the ULTIMATE "sleeper" car. Jag even offers the S-type R with the same motor and supercharged/intercooled tuned down to a conservitive 400hp from the factory! All the same mustang cobra oerf tricks work on this car... Ford owns JAG and it's all Ford technology making this thing purrrrrr.

FYI... the Lincoln "LS" model is based on the same JAG s-type platform & similar running gear, but NOT the same... it has a 3.9L V8 but low compression, no VVT, smaller valves, less cam lift, etc. 273hp. and performance weak!!!

This JAG drives like a dream, smooth, quite, handles awesome, and screams when you want it to!!! It has been maintained extremely well and stored winters... mostly x-way miles (not racing other stangs and z's)!!! I tried to load photos but may camera doesn't shoot that low of format. It is metalic black with a tope (grayish/tan) interior, factory 17" alloys with nearly new tires (about 7000 miles)... has 105K on the body but looks and drives like a 50K car or less! My wifes getting a new one and I plan on buying a used crew cab truck soon... cash or trade possibly????? Jim
