I love this stuff. I'm definitely gonna go back and finish my cnc degree after im done with engineering degree
It probably didn't take that long to program it. I'm guessing alot of it was done as a 3d file. We surface some pretty big dies and the programmer can usually get it done in a day or 2 probably took longer to design it. I'm surprised they use a 1" cutter for a lot of it, Specially when they are hogging out a lot of the bigger sections you'd think they would use a 2 or 3" probably cut the cycle time down significantly . It was more then 11 minutes it was time lapsed in some sections.
Still amazed at what the machines can do and they are only getting better. We have a giant FPT boring mill its actually in a pit and the table is part of the floor. Usually cut die shoes on it.
