clutch problem

so about a year ago I had a new trans put in along with a centerforce dual friction, steeda quadrant and adjuster. now for some reason the clutch pedal needs a ridiculous amount of force to engage, it even broke the bar that links the pedal to the quadrant. I have tried adjusting it and while it will improve some it only lasts a day before it goes right back to where it was. it doesn't seem to have the let off a normal clutch has, it takes the same amount of force to push it down start to finish. It was fine when I first had it done a little harder than stock but nothing like this. could the pressure plate be worn out already or could the problem be in the cable(steeda)? thanks-gary

Maybe check the clutch fins for binding.....Throwout bearing for binding, make sure cable is lubricated and slides through the housing smoothly......That is where I would start.

well I tore into it this weekend and it turned out to be a simple fix, the metal support strands in the cable housing pulled throgh the fire wall. replaced the cable its like a new car. thanks guys +1's
