100k your crazy! Although my Uncle and a friend of mine would love that

My uncle has one and my buddy had at least 3. He might have 4 by now. He collects them like playing cards. He loves those things.

I dont think im Crazy, look at GNX they made alot more of those and they sell for way more. This is a basically as built car give it 5-6 years and it will pull that easily. In my views the fox mustangs are going to be the 55-57 chevy or 67-69 camaro of our generation

The GNX is a special car. The Cobra R can be recreated pretty easy. Don't get me wrong I think they are cool cars, but they are still a fox-body. And as much as I love the fox-body they just aren't really collector items.

The 55-57 Chevy and 67-69 Camaro are classic cars. I think the fox-body might surpass them in being modded, but not the style factor. The fox-body has a HUGE following, but they won't be at Barrett-Jackson going for tons of money.

I love those cars. The same buddy that has 3-4 Cobra's has a SAAC conv. It's goregous!!! I have wanted one since the day they came out. I will own one someday.
are they worth 50k??

IMO unless you want to collect factory cars why bother?

The R had heads and intake that work okay on a 302 but are undersized for a 351.

You can build so much more for so much less.

I'd go for a 03/04 Cobra thank-you. Or look for a 95 Cobra R. ;)
There was a guy at WDC who was parked right next to our lot who was selling a 95 R. He wanted $39,500 for it.

The 93 R was a 302.

Damn your buddy must have some $$$$, esp. if he started collecting in the last 10 years. Glad he drives them.
