Need to have my grandfathers car appraised for his estate. Any local recommendations? Needs to be official, with paperwork. Any help is appreciated.

I don't have any recommendations but you might want to check with Sean K. (Kammi is his screen name, might be spelled a bit different). I think he had some recommendations a few years ago when I was insuring my classics.

I've used Top Hat John in the past, he's great. Though I've tried half a dozen times in the last six months to have him do other cars and got zero response (call and email).

Top Hat John has had some health issues of late...He is still doing appraisals, just on a limited basis for now.

I used Southern Motors for an appraisal when I had a 78' T/A. Needed the appraised value for the agreed value policy I had at the time. They have that one location in Clarkston on Dixie Hwy.

That was in the early 2,000's and I can't remember. So I just called Southern Motors and they said $100 for the appraisal.
