hey i got a 1970 ford fairlane 500 (like the torino) and was looking for any cheap ways to boost horsepower and or fuel eco...i have the original 302 with 2barrel carb set up right now but i have a edelbroc preformer intake + holley 650 + ford racing headers that will be going on it shortly.

looking for free or cheap ( $20~$150) to make my her a quick street car

Not sure if the question is serious? If it is serious, that's a big car for a 2bbl 302 engine. The typical upgrades will help, but to make it a "quick street car", you should probably save up for a 351W engine at a minimum, or a junkyard 460. Either will bolt right in, but the 460 will require new mounts and stuff.

I really like those cars though.

haha yes its a real question.. im 19 and have a tight budget and this car is so heavy it seams like what ever i do barley does anything.....plus i think my rocker arm just loosend itself so since im taking the valve covers off how well would 351w heads work on it?

Easiest way to make it faster is changing the gearing. it will screw you on the express way but it might make city driving more efficient.
