Why Cummins over Dmax? Easier/cheaper to come by or??

I believe it's been said, but I'm thinking FD with some sort of 4.8/5.3 truck engine
These cars have great lines, and a LS makes the perfect combo.
The 12v work better when running cooking oil ....![]()
The DMax is Isuzu so... no relevance either wayBut if the 12V is cheaper to find in the boneyard, sweet. It's not like it's a dodge motor anyway.
Today its a "Thin bumper" vega with a Solstice/sky Turbo ecotec drivetrain...

That's sweet. I just found out over the holiday season one of my cousins inherited a low mile 71 Vega from his great aunt or something. I'm jealous.
Ahh, the cooking oil plumbing around the fuel cooled Dmax ecm issue. Meh, just convert to biodiesel and all is good.

Personally I have always like the old British convertibles....
I have been messing around with building:
Sunbeam Tiger with LS7 Tranzilla and Independent rear suspension from a solstice.
It came with a factory POS V-8 back in the day so it is not as tough to fit....
For some odd reason I can't upload the pic I want too...but thats been my idea for a while
i want a 50s benz wagon, pro turing theme but stock appearance other than wheels. C6 suspension, Duramax swap. i want an old wagon that sits low and pukes black smoke while sliding around.

http://www.motownmuscle.com/forums/showthread.php?179166-Tim-Allen-s-68-Camaro67 Camaro. Late model powertrain. Dark blue with black vinyl top and white SS stripes. Wheels would be a modern version of the Chevy Rally wheels. Just something that looks stock but with some modern touches to make it more enjoyable to drive.
Saw that car on TV a few times. Pretty nice ride. Bodie Stroud builds some nice stuff.
