Car Smashed today!!

today i took the charger im working on (needs paint) out for a small drive..and well basically some fucking drunk hit me,smashed the whole front end he tried driving away..but i got his #..and called 911..they found him a about 20 minutes later 5 miles away..

the dude was completely smashed the cop said(not like that of course lol)
but that fucker will be paying this is my first accident..and the thing that pisses me off is how can you be wasted at 2 pm?

thank god nobody was hurt..but the car..the whole fender on the passenger side is smashed because of this fuckign jeep..

thats why i don't drink..well ill bring more details soon..with pictures.

well at least my baby isn't hurt..
 
What really sucks is that because some jackass isnt smart enough to not drive drunk, you have to spend your money(No Fault) to fix the car. You can claim the mini tort, but thats not crap compared to buying replacement parts for a classic.
 
you can hope he doesnt have insurance...then he has to pay the full amount...but if he doesnt have insurance i dont think he will be fronting the cost of your car...they will suspend his license though if he fails to pay.
 
That sucks! I hope it is just superficial damage and nothing too serious like a bent frame.
 
my friends got to the bar at 7am and stayed till 2am... i'll just wait till tomorrow to call them and see if they're still alive....
