Car shows/meet ups?

So where are all the car shows & meets in Detroit? From what I gather on Facebook and here I don't see a lot of meet ups really promoted. Any typical Friday /Sat /Sun locations?

Bakers in Milford is usually a good stop. Its a good drive for me and dinner never disappoints.

Milan Driveway has a schedule... this is a place where burnouts are encouraged and nobody cares about your latest bolt on that you so bravely installed. He he he...

Down town Davison on Friday nights. Holly I believe on Wednesday nights. Brown road and Lapeer road on Tuesday nights.

Yup, just saw it mentioned in the paper that they’ll be having them again this year. I’ll probably make most of them, will probably be out there on the lake anyway!

Did anyone else go to the Monroe Swap Meet today?

I thought it was pretty good, good deals on parts
and supplies. I also got a great deal on a Giant bike:













I thought this was a good deal if I were in the market for one....

I have to stop going to this show every year! That Bronco was as about as good
as it gets - especially for that price. It was truly tempting.

The bike was $500 new (2010). Excellent condition, very low miles. He had
$150 on it. He asked me "you like it?", I replied "I love the bike, not the price".

He said "ya, I was just about to lower it to $100", I replied "lower it to $75
and I'll take it". He replied "sure"!

All in all a really nice event there today with a bunch of good folks.
