Car insurance for drag car Help

Those are 2 different things. A plated car with a VIN is different than a car with no VIN, or a dragster. They can both be insured but if you want Street Insurance nobody's going to want to hear that you have a drag race car...haha guarantee all those dudes with big block pintos and Vegas didn't tell there insurance company that it's now a drag car with a swapped in giant engine.

a guy on Yellow Bullet has or used to have drag racers insurance for your car and your truck and trailer Etc.. I think he included crash Insurance also.
 
When trying Hagerty, make sure when you fill out the sheet, you don't put more than 5 or 600HP. I tried to add my GN to my policy a few years ago and put down 1000hp (I was already lying by 600hp at the time), and was declined due to excessive power. So now that car is on my Hagerty policy with my other cars, but only for fire/theft. I had to get a separate Progressive PL/PD policy to drive it on the street.
