Can you look up past owners?

Recently I bought a Mustang GT. Now that I'm tearing into it I'm finding more and more that looks like my old car. Holes where an amp was mounted, suspension pieces, DEI alarm, Front bumper repair and more. Yesterday I pulled the carpet and under the carpet its red just like mine. The car has a pretty good blue paint job on it now. He said it had fresh paint but I couldn't even tell it was red until I pulled the carpet. Can I go to SOS or anywhere to find out past owners of the car? I'm 99% sure I owned the car about 6-7 years ago.

run a car fax and see if sale dates match when u sold it

Did you insure it? They might have the vin, or any service done, tires, etc could have the vin.
