This picture was taken about 4 1/2 miles away from ground zero at Hiroshima. Talk about freaky....note the pic taken through the trees in the foreground.

It'd be totally different today then it was back then. I doubt many regular Japanese citizens even knew what an atomic bomb was, let alone knew what a mushroom cloud looked like. If I saw one today I have absolutely no idea what I would do. Probably stop everything and start praying.
