That radio is not going to work with your truck. It uses the CAN lines to do a lot of things. One it receives messages from the ECM and BCM to get vehicle speed, distance and other things for the navigation. But the most important thing is that it matches the VIN number stored inside the radio to the one stored inside the ECM or BCM. If they do not match, the radio will not turn on. This is an anti theft deterrant. The radio is useless unless it's used with the vehicle it was built with or unless it's reprogrammed with the new VIN. Being that your truck is a lot older the the one the radio came out of I'm guessing that a dealer can't reprogram it for your vehicle and if they can, be ready to provide where you got the radio from and hope that the radio hasn't been reported stolen. Also your ECM/BCM may not send out all the messages needed to run that radio. Now days it's not as simple as unplugging a radio and plugging it into another vehicle. Especially one that is on a CAN bus. My suggestion is to sell the one you have after you know for sure it's not stolen property(or you could get pinched) and find one closer to your year vehicle or buy an aftermarket navigation unit.
