Can anyone recommend a company that transports vehicles in a enclosed trailer?

I have a customer that need to transport their Street Rod but needs it hauled in a enclosed trailer.
I had a couple companies lined up to transport it but they now have declined.
I know lots of people with enclosed trailers, just none that are Licensed & Insured to do so.
Vehicle rides very low to the ground and does not move under its own power.
I'm about to call reliable carriers.

Send a pm to Steve 13secss, i feel like he just posted about a good transport company for some reason

I have sent a couple hours calling around....
Very few places are even remotely interested.
When I call and explain the vehicle is a upper end street rod that sits low to the ground they act like I'm talking a foreign language.
Its about a 36 mile trip.
Carriers has quoted me over 1k.
Waiting to hear back from a few other towing companies.

TAJack used to advertise in Hemmings Motor News. There a bunch of places in there that specialize in that kind of towing. I would check there.

Curious why it needs to be an enclosed. If it gets driven on the street I'd think a flat bed should work? 1k for 36 miles is silly! I vote you let Brian handle it! :)

I've towed many cars to autorama with open and closed trailers. Id be happy to do it. We can rent a uahual car hauler. My vette was lowered and would go on the trailer without issue. There are many tricks to get a low car on a trailer. The reason I rent the uahual car hauler, is we take insurance that will cover the car and the tow rig.

I just towed my lowered Ctsv on same trailer, no issue at all.

Let me know if I can help

This sounds like a high end build that they're concerned about damaging, liability and insurance. I'm pretty sure that's why Rich is trying to be so careful.?

Your right Mike.
This has more to do with Liability insurance than anything else.
Its a high end new build and the customer requested enclosed.
Its his baby... and I understand what service he wants.
I did not think Brian (U WIN) offered enclosed as a option.... so I did not think to ask him.
Its all good now.
I forwarded U Wins number to the customer & left the ball in their lap to decide.

Thank you all for the offers & advise. I appreciate it.

If its a high end build that an enclosed is a requirement tell the owner to buy himself a trailer because it sounds like that is all that will be happening with it
