Some background...guy was pulled over while driving around like this...car was impounded. I can't find the pic right now, but I think the suspension was "modified" by wedging a bolt in somewhere (insanely unsafe)

Anyways, it's up for sale I guess

Is it just me or does it also have extreme toe in to go with the extreme camber.

The builder is obviously a huge idiot. The buyer is a bigger idiot unless he's planning on buying it to fix it, part it, or crush it.

Look at the wheel hub...exactly the reason why he "won't let anyone drive it"...it's not safe, let alone legal, and I'm surprised it wasn't crushed when it was impounded.

holy shit.......anybody recognize that famous vietnam era pic on the hood?....that was seconds before that dude got capped....wow....:icon_eek:

Stinger and I had a good laugh about this car when I first spotted it last year. As much as I like rabbits, I wouldn't even touch this car.

And Brad, as for the award. It's a VW thing. You wouldn't understand. That's why I don't go to that many water cooled shows. I don't play well with some of the cars that go to those things. This one is a prime example.

Now this one on the other hand I find cool. A friend of mine built this back in the early 90s and was the first to do a VR6 engine swap and the whole car only has 36k miles and is loaded with cool period bits. He just sold this car, and the douche bag that bought it came underfire on vw vortex cause he wanted to rattlecan paint it, put widened steel wheels on it and drive it every day cause god forbid he drove one of his two lease new vws. So what does he do? He copies the original ad for the car along with asking price trying to make a 200% profit on the car.
