We have always wanted to organize a meet and greet for the site's members but we could never find the right opportunity.
Well, now we have one! From August 9-11, the 40th Anniversary of the Camaro and Firebird event will be held right on the GM Tech Center grounds in Warren, MI. This is usually referred to as the "Bowling Green event" but it has temporarily moved locations to also coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the '55-'57 Chevrolet event (and is also one week before the massive Woodward Dream Cruise). This should be a BIG event!
Since this is such a large event, we feel it would be the perfect time to take advantage of people being in town to organize a CamaroZ28.Com Member Summit!
So, show up for the show at the Tech Center, see lots of Camaros including the Camaro concepts and then Friday August 10, drop by the Holiday Inn Warren right across from the GM Tech Center for a very casual CamaroZ28.Com Summit! We are reserving a meeting room at the hotel from 6pm on for all CamaroZ28.Com site members to meet meet and hang out.

One thing to note, our Summit takes place at the same time as a concert by Jolie Holliday at the GM Tech Center Amphitheater. While we do not have details on this concert, we do know that a name badge is required to enter. If you plan to attend the concert, you can still show up at the Summit because there is no required time to show up. The Summit runs from 6pm until it ends.
