Call of duty: Modern Warfare or the new World at War??

I have a PS3...just bought it like three months ago and am interested in buying whichever is better. So which one is better? And if you dont mind me asking what makes it better?

Both. COD4 for the weapons of today, and WaW for the best WWII action. WaW has body parts that fly off when blown up. So that's an extra plus.

I'm really new to the multiplayer online scene. Which was is better online or are they both the same? Any other good shooter's that I might want to look at? I'm thinking about pre-ordering Killzone 2.
 
yup both, can't go wrong with either. But I know someone is going to come on here and say WAW sucks, don't listen, it's a great game.
 
Camarokid91z has waw, Im sure he would be down to play online. I have modern warfare. I like MW alot, I havent played the WAW yet however.

Why would they say that though? Which one do you like better honestly? I would get both but I have cash for only one or the other and maybe next time I get paid I'll get the other.

Because some of these kids that get on there can't hack it without spray and pray, and there are alot more rifles/bolt action on the game. I like WAW a little better right now because it's still kinda new COD4 is still fun but the same maps for me 54389734597853490783459078 times gets a little boring. Another thing you will notice is every racist 12yo in the world plays the game so just a heads up. :lol:

Gotcha. I just didnt know for a rookie to Call of Duty which would be better. I do like the idea of a more modern game but I still have some deciding to do.

One more question. Any other good shooters that have a good multiplayer to? I have been hearing Resistance 2 is one but I have no idea. Only games i play right now is GTA 4 and NBA 2K9.

Dang. I was just in Canton yesterday. Had to stop by and get some gas before I drove back out here. I was in Detroit for a few days. I always am at least once or twice a month.

I love resistance, It is really fun to play and fast paced. I also just play it online, but even the campain is longer then COD's.
