C4 Trans help

I have two questions. I am dumping my aod and switching to a pan filled c4. I am wondering if anyone has a good trans shop to rebuild the c4 I picked up. Unsure of its condition and just want to have it built right. I am in the Rochester hills area so preferably close to here would be nice. I just don't have any experience with trans shops around here and want someone fair and trustworthy. Also my other question is cost? I would like to know the average cost for having one built so I know if wherever I take it is close to the going rate. Thanks for your help.
 
Rich. My buddy just went to him after having a high dollar build done and rich hooked him up paying more attention to detail.

A c4 is pretty easy to rebuild,I did mine a few times over the years.

But Detroit gearbox is the place to go!
 
Thanks for everyone's help. Talked to rich this afternoon and he is getting me a quote for the c4 rebuild and recommended doing a turbo 400 instead.
