Help me out.....I am converting my 1991 LX 5spd car to a C4...50oz. 10 1/2 bolt pattern converter...my question is----which converter do I need..the one that specifies a 1.375 crank pilot or the one that doesn't????

I think it has to do with what kind of pilot hole is cut in your crankshaft.

Also, don't forget that you have to remove the pilot bearing from the crank.

crank pilot size varies with which engine you have, 289,302,351w,c, all have a 1.375 pilot size(don't forget to remove your pilot bushing in your crank)
the other crank size ford uses is 1.848 and is found in 360/390 fe blocks, some early
429, 460's i think 400 and 351m blocks.
