Hope it's not a repost. It's WAY too true though

Wow, that's ghey. Anyone else notice the first book was of an American-made Honda Accord?

So is not supporting the Detroit based auto companies, but I guess it doesn't have any effect on you. I'm sure the jobs of your family, friends and yourself don't have any ties to the Detroit companies. I'm also sure your home<if you own one> hasn't see any drop.

:dunno: where does the money go?

I don't want to get in to a whole thing here, but you honestly think the CEO's and big shots give a shit about where their stuff is biult? they are closing our plants and opening plants overseas!!! Whereas the "imports" are opening plants in N/A and keeping people working.
Here's my all-time favourite quote on the subject, read it, and seriously think about it-it makes great sense:

Profits = Small amount of money

USA workers at 'import' plant building cars+
USA workers designing 'import' cars+
USA workers making parts/suppliers for 'import' cars+
USA workers selling cars at 'import' dealership+
USA workers buying houses from 'import' job money+
USA workers paying taxes to the government+

= Big Money for US!

I think people miss the big picture
I'll also say that my brother-in-law makes parts for Chrysler, Ford and Toyota. And there are countless plants producing parts for "foreign" companies. You need to look at the situation with an open mind. Fack, I even heard that on the list of "UAW-approved cars" is the Toyota Camry, what does that say?????

That's pretty damn funny! I remember that old pot ad. Always best to lead by example. I just hope there is a single American company left by the time my 6 year old is ready to drive. We may be following in England's foot steps.
