Bullet proof vest test goes wrong

could have been worse, remember a few years ago when i needed slicks to go racing at milan and motown was gonna sponsor me a pair of et drags to take a bean bag slug to the chest from IMNOTFAST? almost went thru then my camaro got stolen? that would have sucked lol....
 
The original guy who wanted to start making kevlar vests did about the same thing to prove to police - who did not believe a fabric could stop a bullet - that his vests and the space age fabric of kevlar did work.

The guy took a gun, turned it on his chest, shot himself pointblank, took the hit and within a split second continued to shoot at targets setup 7 yards away, proving that the vest could take a bullet and the wearer could continue to fight.

Were these guys stupid? Yah probally.

Was it the worst thing you could do? Nah
