I am listing this for a friend:
Selling a '98 Z 28 Camaro with only 2 owners. Well maintained with leather interior, power windows and locks, and Pioneer Cd player. I have over $6,000 in part receipts for this car.
Motor: Stage 2.5 ported and polished 243 heads with a PRC double be-hive spring kit good up to .650" lift. They also have larger valves 2.02" intake 1.57" exhaust. Has 7.425" hardened push rods and Comp hydrolic lifters. The cam is a Torqoer V3 specs- 231/234 .643"/.598" 111 lsa. Ls6 ported oil pump. Ls6 intake manifold.
Drive-train: 4L60-e with shift kit, upgraded sunshell and all new seal and clutches. Torque converter is a TCI streetrighter. Stalls from 2400-2900. Rear end was completely rebuilt by ring and pinion with a Detroit tru-trac posi and 3:73 gears. All new bearings and seals.
Suspension:BMR front and rear sway-bar. Bmr rear lower tubular control arms.
Misc: 5% tinted windshield and 50% tinted side windows. Car is wired for a sound system. Has 17" Z06 rims. I'll throw in a set of used drag radials. Has new pads and rotors on front.
Car is very clean and has a lot of potential. I took it to the track last year before head cam and header swap and it ran 12.98 on the third pass with street tires.Car currently will not idle in drive by itself, but idles fine in park or neutral. Still needs a good tune. Car is still drivable. I was told that the mods done to the car would put it in the low 11's.
I am in no rush to sell the car, so do not low-ball me. $9,000 O.B.O.
