Is there anybody local who has a good amount of experience with buick 350 heads/engines? Buddy has a Skylark GS vert with the 350 and is getting the engine rebuilt, and wants to know all of his options for getting headwork and planning the combo. It would be nice to have it done locally.

Dont know of anyone local thats specializing in those old buicks but i have a 455 buick block and fresh reground crank for really cheap. If hes interested pm me

Booth & Aarons has a Buick nut that works as a machinist and I think he may even be the owner. Denny is his name. Knows Buicks very well. My friend had his 455 Buick built by him.

Details on the engine? Know how much power it made?

.030 over, forged psitons, stock crank, stock rods with ARP bolts shot peened and magnafluxed. 10-1 compression, fully ported stage 1 heads. T/A performance cam, I think around 5.35ish lift and 230 or 240? duration hydraulic flat tappet. He can't afford a set of shaft rockers for it, so the stockers are being used for now and limiting RPM to 5000. When he can afford a main gurdle and shaft rockers he's going to take the motor back out and re-do everything. Currently the motor is awating being dropped into the 1964 buick. Buick's aren't cheap.

Booth & Aarons also does machine work for Steve Atwell and does race motors; gas, alcohol and nitro powered. Most of their motors are race motors as far as I know.
