Some of you knew the story of this car - the car to break break the 200mph NASCAR record. The car is at Mecum Indy now, going across the auction block this afternoon. Really cool story, and the car was phenomenally restored. Greg poured decades of his heart and soul into this thing, and finally partnered up with a shop to get it across the finish line. Anyone who knows Greg knows how tenacious he can be when he sets his mind to something, and the documentation and records he dug up over the years are nothing short of astonishing. Having the true story of the car be heard is all him!

the guy who did the 8 years of work on this car is a member here, he undid the mistakes from the first shop , and kinda got screwed about credit for all the work he did, I was there when ray picked the car up to finish the restoration , the car was alot further done then they are letting people believe
