Brake Guru's - need help

I'm having a brake issue with my 2004 Monte Carlo. Under normal, light braking I have no issues. When slowing down from higher speeds (over 45 mph), I get a real bad pulsating in the pedal and you can feel it in the floor if you're sitting in the passenger seat. It also happens with quick, hard braking. It almost feels like ABS kicking in, but the frequency is higher. It's definitely coming from the front end. Car does not pull hard to one side when braking either. Steering wheel shows now sign of vibration.

I replaced the pads and rotors thinking it may have been a warped rotor - it didn't help any. New wheel hubs were installed last fall. New tires were also installed last fall. Car has approx 91K miles.

I get no ABS light coming on so I wouldn't think it's the sensor going bad.

My other thought is maybe air in the lines?

Any opinions?

i'd take the rears off and replace/have them checked. front's do most of the work and that extra applied pressure etc. is when the rears get used.
