braided line with plastic tube inside

i have a 2ft piece i found at work . i dont know where it came from ,but i was going to use it for fuel . is it ok to run fuel through it with the plastic tube inside ? the tube has .030 wall .......

it wont see much fuel , i would use it for my 2nd stage n2o . reg to selonoid



is it safe????????

The tube likely isn't plastic, but teflon. Teflon is fine with gas, nitrous, oil, pretty much anything.

Make sure you get the right fittings for it though. A hose clamp won't do well with it.

You can try, but the teflon isn't really pliable like rubber so it seals for shit.

It might though you never know. You can get the right fittings from aeroquip, weatherhead, parker fittings, ritter engineering, etc...

You need the TFE fittings (available everywhere but Summit seems to have the best prices). Regular fittings will not work.
