Are duel necessary? I was looking into them and into how to route lines yesterday, I like the two can setups but I don't see any benefit other than emptying them less often.

no you could run just one. i have two just for the extra capacity and ease of running lines from each cover to them with big ( -12AN) lines

Run Two if you have the space, the more crankcase pressure you can get rid of the better the ring seal will be.

I run two that are similar to Sean's. I have to run two of them because used up junkyard engines have a lot of blowby at 20psi.
