Bob Villa's of the board check in.. Front porch questions

I got a pretty standard issue concrete front porch on our house 25x6ish covered with one of those oh so classy aluminum awnings and railings to match.. I much prefer a wood porch and nice wood/shingled awning .. Wondering if I can save myself the headache of busting the concrete porch out and just use a composite decking and construction adhesive and cover it with the boards..
