I bought this boat this spring and sunk a LOT of money into it. WIlson Marine in Brighton rebuilt the out drive, replacing almost everything, all bearings, including gimble bearings etc... to the tune of $1,500.00, but it has a warranty.
They also went through the drivetrain and tuned it.
The main wiring harness was corroded, so they went through all the wiring and fixed whatever needed to be fixed.
Basically, I dropped it off and told them to fix it and call me when it's done.
It's still running a little rich, but I don't know how to tune carbs.
The boat is 16' long Four Winns Freedom. with a mercruiser 3.0L Inboard/Outboard. has all the typical stuff...
Boat fires right up and runs great.
Has a Humminbird Fishfinder am/fm/ cassete...
The trim works great, steering etc...
The Outboard has a planer board, this helps it get on plane VERY quickly, but reduces top end speed.
I've pulled 2 tubes, one had a 350lb guy, the other was about 170lb.
I'm guessing top speed is just shy of 40mph.

Some of the interior is starting to seperate at the seams.
The boat is solid, I've kept it inside since spring. The only time it sees water is when I trailer it to the lake and back.
Feel free to get ahold of me and I'll meet you at the lake and you can take it out on the water.
comes with a matching trailer.
I have about $3,500 into it (including purchase price) but i need to make room in the barn for winter storage.
I HATE to sell it, but if I could get $3,000.00 I'd be happy. If not, it can sit there until spring, and I'll sell it then.
This was my first boat, and I had a blast on it.
I would be interested in trading it for a Mustang 5.0L. Or a quad.. banshee, 250R etc...
