blue angels in area tomorrow

I was stationed in Pensacola FL (home of the Blue Angels) so I got an airshow every Tuesday. I also worked on some of the avionic equipment in them when I was in Japan. Some of the equipment isn't even used (they have bad circuit cards on unused equipment etc) but it is all still installed on the aircraft to keep the proper weight balance of the aircraft.

Nice to see them flying in Michigan.

Made it out to Vegas a few times for the drag races and with Nellis AFB right across the street between the cars and the planes it was always a good show. Thunderbirds were supposed to be at Battle Creek this year but that was cancelled so hopefully this can be my jet fix for the year.
 
I love seeing those A10's flying low like that. They have a unique sound and it warms my heart to know that it is the last sound many terrorists hear...

Those are pretty good pics. My wife was slow with our camera. They pretty much turned right over our yard/around our house (looks like they cut Harrison Twp a little short from the initial map to stay away from Selfridge airspace)
