I have a 2002 F-150 Super Crew (loaded) the blower motor has 4 settings and it dont work on the low or low-medium settings. It works on the medium-high and high setting just fine. I have owned the truck for 2 weeks now and It was this way when I bought It. Any Ideas on what to look for and check out ? Thanks In advance.

Find the blower motor resistors, by the blower motor itself. Unplug it and ake a test light to each of the wires and make sure you get illuminaion when you change settings. I can give you a wiring diagram, but its not hard. Put it on setting 1 (low) and check to make sure you have power and the resistor on one of the clord plugs. Then setting 2 and check for power and so on. If you dont have illumination at the two speeds tha arent working, its most likely the switch.

You probably have a bad blower motor resistor, but it doesnt hurt to check the circuit first, since it's fast and easy.

So do I have to pull the dash to find It ? I looked behind the glove box and It looks like the dash covers everything up.
