My block is already bored and honed, has been for 3 years since i built it and ran it. Pulled motor apart this fall, and I want to do a partial fill on it ( bottom of freeze plugs). Can I still just fill it without doing another bore and hone job?
depends on how much hard block. how stiff and straight the engine is to begin with. I got away with doing it with minimal distortion that required no hone.
