Yeah so I just got back from the best concert of my life. All 3 bands were great but ovbiously BLS couldn't be topped. They played a 1.5 hour set, easily 15 songs plus a few solos. Zakk soloed on a piano and on the guitar, :badass: downright awesome. I noted a few things while I was there:
1. BLS is becoming a little to big for the State Theatre, the crowd needed more crowd control, and I couldn't even begin to tell you how many people got hurt. I didnt dare go near the mosh pits.
2. I've never seen so many drunk assholes on a power trip in one place at one time.
3. Smokers are assholes, no smoking in the state and man I'll be fucked if I didnt choke the whole time and laugh when the security kicked people out on their 2nd warning for smoking. I guess going outside in the smoking section might have killed them. :dontknow:
4. Drink before the show, beer was $5.00 a small as cup, FUCK THAT!
5. Black Stone Cherry's drummer looked and acted just like "Animal" from sesame street, I was ROTF laughing the whole time.
6. Every band of the 3, had 2 lead gutarists that sang or back-up sang. Every band was extremly talented.
7. I'll be seeing BLS again for sure an unbelieveable show.
And to top off the night we stopped on our way home for Taco Bell. They messed up our order. We got it fixed and they let us keep the old one AND gave us our money back. Hell yeah free meal!
