Brake job (get your mind outta the gutter) :lol:

Decided to get rid of the shitty red paint the last owner had on the calipers and brackets. It's kind of hard to see in the befores....but he basically covered up the rotor and the parts behind the brakes before hosing everything down with red paint. Even the back of the pads were painted red.

Car was on jack stands for half the week while doing a little work here and there. Now if I could only get all of the air out of the lines. :sad: On the plus side, the new setup looks pretty good IMO. :)

Thanks everyone! Put a little more time into this than I thought it was going to take. The pic of the parts on the floor - that was after going through a case of brake cleaner on all 4 calipers and 3 of the brackets. Ended up taking a wire brush on the end of a drill to the brackets to get 'em down to bare metal. The front driver side ended up having one of the slide pins siezed in the bracket. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts at trying to remove it with the torch, it had to be replaced. The good news for Sunday was, everything feels great now that we bled them the right way. Funny how that works. :lol:
 
Thanks! The car was a little dirty. I'll post up pics when I get 'er cleaned up next weekend. :)

Went with a set of GranSport 6 Carbon Ceramic pads and Cryo-Stop rotors on all 4 corners.

Looks good. I still would have kept the chrome wheels, but it looks good

Hey - I can help the fact that he is very talented at what he does. :lol:

I liked the old wheels too - just thought they were too much for up front (10.5" wide) and figured a change would be nice. Thanks for the props. :)
