Hell, in that case, we should just shake our finger at him and tell him he's a bad boy and send him on his way.RBOD said:...No matter how much time he does in jail or how much money they fine him...it's not going to bring the other person back.

RBOD said:Not saying that he doesn't deserve a stronger punishment, but what would you like him to be charged with? DUI and DUI Manslaughter. That's exactly what he did. It wasn't murder. Let's just hope the sentence reflects the crime.

The current charges are an easy no fuss guilty verdict. This plays into the civil trial where the judge and jury both know that he is guilty and he got off easy. The payout for pain and suffering could be big depending on what the Florida limits are.
Rick
Yeah but if the charge isn't correct the jury will more likely to return a not guilty verdictCrazzy_Al said:The judge can change the charge during a hearing, right? Say the judge feels that the DA worked out too good of a deal.
Voluntary manslaughter is commonly defined as an intentional killing in which the offender had no prior intent to kill
RBOD said:oh yea. if you kill a police officer, they'll hit you with anything they can (rightfully so).
