Tried to hang out down on WW last night and was on the way to the bar with Tony and a couple of friends. Next thing I know, I hear/feel what seems to be some sort of rear-end troubles. Definitely put a downer on my night. Thankfully, it happened 100 yards from Dave's house and he was kind enough to let me pull in so we all could take a quick peak at what's going on (10:30 at night). We end up limping the car back to Tony's before heading back out to the bar an hour later than we had planned. Tony was then kind enough to get me back home over to Farmington. Man, what a night. Not exactly the way I wanted to start out owning this new car. :icon_frow

Anyway, big thanks to Tony, Dave and friends for putting up with my shit breaking. Now, I just have to find a way to get it somewhere so it can be fixed. Seems like there's something floating around back there (diff issue, chipped gear, etc.). It must be the season for 12-bolt issues, eh Larry? :lol:
 
Most of the RED roll cage padding is gone except for the pieces around my head. I kinda need to keep that there for now until I can get black.

That thing is a beast. I pulled out the NASCAR drafting skills, maintaining 2~2.5 car lengths behind a Ford Exploder on the way down, and was getting 32.7mpg at 73mph with the cruise and A/C on! :D
 
damn that car is fucking awesome, and im a mustang guy! hope you get your issues figure out, i know how much i hate rear ends right now :(

Ha ha, I did that same thing earlier in the night with a few other cars. 3rd is not a good gear to get a jump on someone in.

And no problems with the help man. We will pull the cover off the diff tonight and see what we can see. Worst case we yank it, take it to Scott and get it back together. You are welcome to leave it in my garage for now if you need to. My camaro likes having a buddy there. :lol:
