Big thanks to Gautz Enterprises - 71 Buick GS Exhaust

A friend of mine recently passed away, and I've been finishing the restoration on his 1971 Buick GS Convertible for his family so that they can sell it. The car has a 455 with reproduction Mickey Thompson equal-length long tube headers and before he passed he purchased a 304 stainless 3" dual exhaust system from Stainless Works. The car has a N-25 bumper, so the kit needed to be adapted to fit the tips that protrude through the bumper. It ended up being a lot more work because the M/T headers exit much farther back on the car than most headers, and a good amount of the kit had to be re-worked. Gautz did a fantastic job with everything and used as much of the kit as possible. There are some seriously tight clearances on this system and the whole system came out great. Here are some crappy cell-phone pics of their work. Mike (SSnthe10s) took some with a better camera so maybe he can post up some better ones.

I really can't say enough about their work and how great they were to deal with. The price/performance of them for exhaust work is second-to-none IMO.

We don't know much, he was in the hospital for pneumonia a few days prior and they found a blood clot in his arm. A few days later he passed in his sleep. We're figuring the blood clot broke loose and went to his brain.

It'll most likely be for sale in the spring. ;)

We're hopefully going to have it at this year's Autorama if we can get everything done in time.

Do you want the stainless 3" cutout pipes too, or just the electric valves? Either way, make an offer and they're pretty much yours. They're BNIB aside from the wiring obviously.
