Big names back in the day

I remember that. If I remember right, that Vette was only on 7 cylinders at the very end. Badass cars for sure! I remember always reading about Rick Dyer's and his crew's cars when I was in school. I wonder what ever happened to those guys?

i saw danny scotts camaro in the video. anybody reember his pro stock monza, "moms headache", i believe. he had crashed it at detroit, and ended up putting the drivetrain from in into a '62 chevy II. the car itself was primered, and tagged, and looked pretty shaky. with danny's rat motor and lenco in it, i saw it run 8.90's. this was in 79-80, i believe. word was that they did street drive it some, but that it was a lethal street racer. maybe butch brown or some other old-timers remember it. i've got a pic somewhere, just need to find it. it was cool as hell. 8.90's was flying back then......
