NOTE:
Silverado combined with the GMC Sierra—the GM offerings are currently leading the Ford F-Series by approximately 45,000 units. However, since they are different vehicle brands they are counted separately.

And that is the outgoing style for the Silverado.

:)

There's a reason the Impala is on there. The 06 and 07 have at least $1500 in incentives, and I'm guessing you can basically name your price on an 06 at this point. F-150 is 3 years old and will get a new model in 08.

Well if you combine the GMC Sierra then you would have to add the LT to the F-150's #'s. I'm pretty sure that would put the F-series out from still

shouldnt the taurus be in the top 10? oh yeah.. ford stopped updating it 6 years ago and replaced it with the fusion:Yawn:

Bold prediction, but I don't think Ford will let that happen. They have had that title for too many years.

Happen with the explorer.

Not even close to the same thing. Ford reacted too slow to a changing market. The truck market is still the truck market. People will always have pick-ups.Look there are more trucks in driveways then SUV's these days.

the taurus is fords to selling car so far this year but wont be for Long production ended about 2.5 hours ago

Won't happen.

It may not happen, but if it does, GM is ready for it. Silao mexico is ramped up to build Silverados in addition to the four existing plants - Oshawa, Fort Wayne, Flint, and Pontiac. They could do it if they wanted with the new capacity they are adding.

They have beat the F-series before by adding the Avalanche to the Silverado, so it can be done.

Sorry but Ford's had the number one selling truck for many years now. If Chevy combined the Avalanche with the Silverado to beat Ford im sure it was for only a year.

Combining three nameplates together to better one doesn't equal winning to me. Either the F-150 or Silverado sells more, not the F-150 or the Silveradierralanche. Looks like the F-150 is on top this year, like it was the last 23 before it. Kind of like the F-bodies almost sold half as many Mustangs if you combined them before they killed them... ;)

Take fleet sales out for the F150 and the numbers drops 35% ford sells those truck dirt cheap to cities to keep the title

Why would you take out fleet sales? They are sales. Plus GM sell one or two fleet trucks also

the big thing is that GMC and Chevy are the same truck, gm offers choices because some people like one brands offerings as opposed to anothers, if you want to include the lincoln go ahead, i doubt they sell that many of those trucks

Set the crack pipe down and see Betty Ford.

What do you think a LT is? It's a dressed up F-150. In fact I have LT door handles on my F-150. I can put just about any part from a LT on my F-150< well I could if I had a Supercrew>.
