Best online backup solution?

What are you guys using for cloud-based backup solutions for a PC? Mainly concerned about price, amount of storage, and a service/company that is reliable and will be around for a long time. I think most/all are, but needs to be automated and done in the background. Being able to make a complete image of a PC would be a plus, but want to be able to access individual files if needed, not sure if this is possible when cloud-based.
 
I've used crashplan for about two years for 300 Gb or so. I used Mozy before, but they deleted everything one day because of an issue in their software and how it recognizes drives so I switched. I looked at some of the others, but I think it was Carbonite that wouldn't let you specify exactly which files/folders you wanted backed up they'd only do everything.
 
Yahoo has been hacked on several public occasions....Sure they all are risky, but yahoo would be the last place I would use. Google, Amazon, Dropbox...
 
We use CrashPlan at work. I use AWS glacier for personal, but there's no client agent for imaging/restore. You'd need to either use it like a cloud drive, or team it with a backup software like Arconis. It's hard to beat $0.004/GB/month hosted by someone as well known as Amazon.

I"ve been looking too and Amazon Glacier looks like it might work for me. From a quick read, some services will delete files once you delete them or unplug a removable drive for too long so be careful of that if you want to archive and not just mirror.

I don't use any cloud services. Me and a couple of friends run rsync over SSH encrypted with GPG to each other's NAS boxes and keep backups that way. Not too hard to set up and runs completely automated without any intervention outside of the first setup. I can also run rsnapshot to make an image of my hard drive to restore from, but I typically don't store anything locally on my machines. I can set up a Debian or Fedora box just how I like it in less than an hour, much less time than it would take to restore from bare metal from a remote host.
