Best looking Capri Ive seen yet

this car belongs to a guy I work with. Its got a complete Cobra drivetrain swap. Top to bottom, suspension and all. Pretty slick

yeah, its a crimson cat, which they only made 805, god knows how many of those were t-top bubble back cars either. its a pretty rare car. it was even originally a ford management vehicle, never sold through a dealer
 
I love it! People are finally starting to do different cars besides the usual Camaro's and Mustangs!
 
cobra R wheels are ugly. :lol: aside from that, it looks like a stock capri. it doesn't look bad, but it's certainly not a pretty car. :lol: better wheels would make it much nicer looking IMO.

Technically it was sold through a dealership. It was sold off the B-lot after it was a management car which has to be run through a dealership. ;)

They aren't Cobra R wheels. They are standard Cobra wheels for 1998. They are a 17x8 where as the Cobra R 17x9. Oh and the car is PRETTY, it's a lot pretty then dare I say a BMW of the same year? :)
 
I think I know this guy and his son!! the engine came out of a pacificgreen cobra- if its the same guy- I have a few good engine pics!!
 
Crazy, small world. I got them a spot to park for the dream cruise. They thought I was nuts when I told them to put 430's in it & that I had 430's in my car. LOL.

from where i'm standing, the wheels look exactly the same. and i disagree completely. there are BMW's of the same vintage that look much, much better. :)


for some reason i thought that all SN cobras had these wheels.
