i have a 00 gt and 295 35 18 BFG KDW's and i got a screw in the sidewal,l so the tire is garbage. i dont wanna spend $270 on a tire that doesn't do anything but look good. which drag radial should i get? whats the pros and cons of some of the different tires

nittos last the longest, bfg's last less but still hook, mickey's last the least. and i would say if you're driving in rain the nittos would be best, the bfg's, then mickey's. i ran bfg's on my 03 gt and i really liked them. i had 2 sets of them, they were still decent in the rain, and with some air out of them they would hook real good with my car. even full inflated they would hook good. i had bfg kdw's in the front, and bfg drag radials on the rear, and really liked it. if you do get the bfg's PM ryelou, he's a belle tire sponsor here on motown and thats who i got both sets of mine from. good guy to deal with

thanks thats the info i was looking for. if the nittos are better in the rain i would prefer those. does anyone here work for discount tire? thats where i bought those tires from and they said they would pro rate it for me.

Nitto's will last the longest, are good in rain but suck donkey balls for traction.

The BEST hooking Drag Radial are the Hoosier Drag radials hands down. but they wear fast and are scary in the rain.

I was able to get my nittos to hook at the track(1.64 60').

I had them on my stock 16s and then on the 17s, I really like them. I drove the car everywhere when it was running  always on drs

I wouldn't recommend any but nitto's for wet highway use.
et streets, bfg's, and hoosiers shouldn't really be used at all in the rain

I have had nittos, hoosiers, and now m/t's. The hoosiers hooked the best but were destroyed in 2 months. The nittos always spun pretty but lasted the whole summer. I now have mickeys and like them the best. They hook good and don't seem to wear nearly as fast as the hoosiers.

I drove my car in the rain with bfg's and they were fine. I drove regular roadds and 70 mph on the highway and not once did I feel unsafe.

i've been thinking about trying the new toyo proxes TQ...they make the best size for my car
