Bendpack HD9SD 4 post lift experience needed

Hi. I'm looking at having a 4 post lift put in the garage and need to get some opinions. I'm leaning towards the Bendpack, but Aresco has an economy lift that is said to be comparable. I'm figuring I would put the Hellcat up and Mustang under it.

Let me know your thoughts.

My boss had an Aresco, great customer service if you have an issue.....and it was a great lift for a home scenario.

He had the American steal version.

Earlier this year I bought a Wildfire XLT lift http://www.wildfirelifts.com/ and assembled it my attached garage by myself over a weekend. I shopped Bendpak but chose against because of the air lock. My garage is a high traffic area so I wanted something sturdy to give piece of mind when I'm not around and to be able to confidently stand under while wrenching- which eliminated many of the economy/storage-only racks. I didn't bolt the lift to the floor and it doesn't have any stability issues.

I got an Aresco and it is great. You have to go manually release the locks to lower it (the good production lifts have an air release or something like that), but other than that it is pretty good. I think I paid in the mid $2000's and that included installation. It came with some adjustable lift shims too which is nice. It is rated to 9000 lbs but I haven't put the Silverado on it yet. No reason to think it won't work fine. Camaro sits on it all the time. I think I needed 13' of headroom for it.

I've had an Aresco symmetrical 2-post for about 15 years now. It has some quirks, but so far so good. I've had cars on it for years at a time (unfortunately) and it has held up fine. If I ever buy another one I'm tempted to buy a brand name asymmetrical to eliminate some of the quirks, but for the price has been a great entry-level lift.

I have a Direct Lift pro park 9 plus. Bought it locally in Michigan last year and love it. Does everything I need it to do, priced well to boot!

No issues with the splitter on the Hellcat getting up the ramps? The Bend-pack is $3700 delivered and set up. 110 power with air locks. Where did that one come from?

None at all, clears with lots of room to spare. I bought that at Automotive Lift & Alignment in Kentwood MI. I want to say it was around 2,500. It also runs on 110, though it has mechanical locks, which aren't as nice, and took some fine tuning to get right, but they work. It also came with a jack support, and a few drip pans that slide between the rails for leaks. Also came with the casters for all four corners for moving it around with ease. I went and picked it up on my open car trailer since they were less than a couple hours away from me down here in Monroe MI. Took it home and set it up by myself in about 2 hours total. Be quicker with a 2nd guy.
