Guys, my life is now complete (except that getting married thing). I just picked up the car I have been thinking about for a very long time. I love how every single aspect of the car has been thought of to save size and weight. If it is not necessary, it is not there. Almost everything is Aluminum or fiberglass. The only steel involved is where it belongs, the bolts. This is a 2006 which is the first and most rare year for the Lotus Exige, the numbers I have seen are just over 300 of this year in the US. 2007 Started the S which are supercharged, only gain 30hp and cost another 10k or so. Mine is N/A, 1.8L Toyota engine with 190hp. 6 speed close ratio trans is awesome and the car only weighs 2015 pounds. I will be out at Woodward on Sat the 18th around 12.5 mile if anyone wants to check it out in person

Awesome! I came cloae to getting a elise a couple times but it just didnt happen. Congrats on the exige. One of my favorite cars.
 
That thing is a gem! I too am to large for that car but it doesn't mean I don't like it. Very nice! Congrats!
 
Nice find! Is that 12 second power? 200hp at 2000lbs?? Figure a 3000lb car with 300 hp might go 12's and a 4000lb car with 400hp might go 12's. Gearing a traction are usually important..

I rented an Elise for 2 days a few years back in las vegas and it was really fun.
 
Thanks guys. I am not sure what the car would do on the 1/4, I doubt that it will ever be on that kind of race track. The twisties is more what it is for.

I was not on Woodward tonight, stuck at work for 14 hours instead so I can pay for this toy
 
Those look like they would be real fun to drive. Can't believe the super charged ones only produce 30hp more lol. Are they using the electric ones from eBay lmao. You have any mods planned?

Nice car. I've driven and ridden in a few both on and off the track. Come out to Grattan with us next month and drive it like it was meant to be driven.
