BBK Whistle

Does anybody out there have a whistling BBK 70mm ? I suspect yes. Now, has anybody figured out how to get rid of the whistle? Some may like it, but I think it is annoying.:pissed:

Last question. Does anybody have a "non-BBK" 70mm that does not whistle. That's the next solution.:icon_smil

I had one on my last car and when we put it together we smoothed the edges out one of the ports because it is sharp. The air traveling across it creates the whistle..

Well, I did do that and it improved. However, it is not gone.

Did your noise totally disappear?

Yes, after taking more and more out...
I can't remember on how much bigger I made the hole and how much I radiused (sp) it.. It was awhile ago..
 
you can try and drill a (bigger) hole in the center of the tb blade also, but I knew the bbk's whistled and I just ordered an accufab instead.

no whistle.
