BBC doweled rod bearings.. New!

As title says. I have 8 pair of Clevite bbc rod bearings # CB-743-HXND these are for doweled aluminum rods and have an extra .001" clearance. I bought these thinking they were the right size but they weren't. They were put in bore gaged and taken right out...My dumb move is your gain! 125.00 shipped in the u.s. New they were 200 shipped from jegs...

Corey. What were your rod journal sizes on the crank it self? What about actual rod big end? And what were your measurement with the bearing installed? Lastly what clearance did you end up with? These might be perfect since I just turned down my crank. PM me if you'd like or text me. This is all of coarse if you even still have your numbers from this. Thanks either way.

Sorry. i didn't keep the sizes written down. once i found they were too much i threw out the data so i didn't mix it up with my new sizes.

So you had to much clearance? What was to much for you? Over .0033 or more then like .0035?? Just curious if you remember that part. Whatever bearings I get I plan on taking in the "back room" and coating about .0004 per side so l shrink them almost a thousandth. So if you had say .004 clearence it would be perfect. Even if you had over .004 it would be great for me.

.004" on the money. i wanted .0035. i work in troy, so if you want to see the bearings i can bring them to work. I'm located between rochester and stephenson just off of maple...
