Steve,
Per our conversation regarding the 2009 Bay Harbor Vintage Car & Boat Festival I have attached some photos for your review. This event is organized through the Bay Harbor Foundation which benefits several organizations and groups. As we discussed the dates for the event are June 26th and 27th. Friday the 26th is a Car Cruise through downtown village displaying the vehicles. Saturday is the all day show with vehicles and boats on display. We typically fill the two lawn panel areas and the main street road for cars on display. This is also part of the show for vintage wooden antique boats. Old Hacker Craft, Chris Craft, and Garwood boats fill the marina with spectacular craftsmanship. We tend to range 200 cars and 100 boats for the displays.
We are interested in targeting different car clubs for their participation in the Friday cruise around downtown Bay Harbor. This would be proximately one mile around the village. During that time you may also participate in the different functions going on and enjoy the evening. If the car is old enough and in impeccable shape it could be entered in the show on Saturday. That is a judged event with several awards given in several categories.
Please let me know if you are interested in attending this event. There is no cost to the Friday evening event. You may also visit the website at www.bayharbor.com or www.bayharborfoundation.com.
Thanks for your interest and look forward to speaking with you.
