So how many Gamers do we have lurking MM ? I personally am a Avid gamer and play mostly FPS ( Halo CoD pretty much any and every FPS) .


Just wondering who else games and what u play? Are u juiced for this Fall with BF3 MW3 and Halo Anniversery droppin all in 60 days of each other?


I play 360 mostly and GT is IRodzillaI. Hit me up if ur down.
 
Ive been waiting for BF3 ever since I watched the first trailer...definitely gonna be an awesome game. Having been been out of PC gaming for a few years now, I just got back into it. I built myself a new computer a few weeks ago in anticipation for BF3. I also play Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, and Bad Company 2: Vietnam.
 
I'll be playing it. I pre-ordered 4 games last night.

Where did you pre-order through? I think I'm going to go to Best Buy for Forza for the BMW 1M or whatever car you get there. I'll keep my eyes open for deals on the rest.
 
All of those were done at Best Buy. Because I also pre-ordered Gears 3 through them, I'll get $100 certificate back. So my $300 in games get me $100 back to use on something else.
 
Fuck that game and it's superman DB's. Throwing a 40 yard pass and the guy can jump up and block at at the 15 yard mark. Bull shit. that game went back with a vow to never buy another EA football game again.

get some air under the ball!!! You should love that game they overrate Michigan every year lol.
 
I was in an online league and actually took Indiana to the Championship every year as the OC. I enjoyed the game, just couldn't get past the damn DB's superman powers, or the blatant computer cheating.

Lol they did make it hard to pass the ball this year but in years past it was too easy. Theres ways around the DB's this year, I usually pass for 250+ a game with 100+ on the ground.
 
Passing is possible, but it's unrealistic. My TE won the Heisman because he was the only one I could pass to. A Slant route to him was a catch everything. Any attempt to go to the outside and it was swatted down or intercepted. There's video out there showing how the computer adjusted to your play calling and ran your routes better than your guys did. It's really sad.
 
My review of BF3 beta so far (PC):

Good:
Animations are sweet
Movement feels very fluid
Sounds are awesome
Battlelog is cool - when working
Ranks, scoring, ect menu's are integrated nicely
Gameplay feels in-between BF2 and BFBC2

Bad:
You have to run 3 things to run BF3 - battlelog, the battlelog applet, and origin - holy clusterfck
Destruction 2.0 is worse than Destruction in BFBC2 IMO
Too much recoil esp on AK
The game graphically looks on par with BFBC2 - it doesn't look improved
You cannot run BF3 in 'offline' mode at all - even to change settings you must be in-game
Flash's from snipers scopes is extremely lame

What kind of hardware are you running it on? How about your graphical settings? Hopefully they iron out some of those issues before it hits retail.
 
thats why they are running beta to test for these problems watch when you get the game you'll have to downland a ton of patches to fix those issues.

Running at 2560x1600 all high settings, some ultra. Lots of reports coming in that the difference between low and ultra is nothing due to it being a beta

Don't count on it. BF2 and BFBC2, there was almost NO difference between beta/demo, and release. We'll see some better graphics on release day, and in a month or so a patch will come out to fix a lot of the bad things.
